Piglet Feed:
United Feed Mill's piglet feed uses high quality raw materials that are close to Food Grade quality, allowing for the piglets to eat well, become strong, and grow quickly. This causes the piglets to grow faster during the growing phases resulting in reducing the amount of time needed to raise the pigs for sale.
Sow Feed:
United Feed Mill developed sow feed made with high quality raw material including fermented fibers, allowing for the sows to produce enough milk to accommodate the increased number of piglets. This in turn increases the average weight of the piglets per pen, and causes the size to be more uniformed, healthy, and ready to enter nursery after weaning.
Grower and Feeder Feed:
United Feed Mill produces grower feed from high quality raw materials like that in the piglet feed. This allows the pigs to eat well, grow faster, helps keep the pigs in shape, and increases muscles resulting in firm pork meat with beautiful color and thin amounts of fat.

Project: SWAB for germs in risky areas to prevent African Swine Fever (ASF)
United Feed Mill Co.,Ltd organized a project to SWAB for germs in risky areas that can cause ASF disease within the farmer's farm, people, water, transport vehicles and surfaces inside of the pen, ect. to prevent disease outbreak for farmers across the country. The project also includes providing advice on various risks within the farm which can reduce the risks of contraction the disease.

Project: African Swine Fever (ASF) Prevention using easily accessible items.
United Feed Mill Co.,Ltd went into the field to visit farmers who are raising pigs in the community and to support all pig farmers to be safe from ASF by:
1. Spray disinfectant on trucks that pick up the pigs, pig cages and other equipment before going into the pen to select the pigs
2. Change your boots and dip your boots in easily made disinfectant tubs before entering risky pig pens and catching pens.
3. Surround the area with fences and netting in at risk pens to prevent the spread of the disease from animals that are
disease carriers: birds, pigs, cockroaches, dogs, ect.
By doing these steps, you can reduce the risk and prevent losses from to the ASF virus.
Project: Distributing Disinfectant and Boots
United Feed Mill Co.,Ltd organized a campaign to hand out disinfectant and boots to the farmers across the country and provide suggestions regarding basic Biosecurity to prevent African Swine Fever (ASF) to reduce the risk of infection within the farmer's farm.
Seminar: “How to come back to raise pigs to survive ASF”
Thailand
was heavily inflicted by the African Swine Fever (ASF) pandemic which incurred
huge losses to the Thai pig farmers reducing the herd size of some and causing
others to cease raising pigs and close down their farms. This causes the total
pig population to reduce to less than half. To support the farmers in their
return to raise pigs to survive amidst ASF,
United Feed Mill organized a seminar, “How to Come
Back to Raise Pigs to Survive ASF”, aiming to educate the farmers to understand
the Biosecurity system, measures, and processes needed to prevent ASF,
especially when there is currently no effective vaccine for ASF. The seminar
took place between October of 2022 through March of 2023 with more than 500
farmers interested in coming back to raise pigs again.
Seminar : African Swine Fever 2019
United Feed Mill Co.,Ltd have hosted seminars about the African Swine Fever (AFS) virus to educate 600 farmers across Thailand so that farmers can prevent this epidemic from spreading.
Activity: "Reduce production cost"
In 2018, United Feed Mill Co.,Ltd looked for ways to reduce the production cost of the pigs by increasing the productivity of the sow. By increasing the sow feed intake while the sows are raising their piglets, the sows are healthier and stronger which results in the piglets being healthier and stronger.

Weaning pigs have higher average weight and nursery pigs are eating better feed resulting in the piglets gaining more weight within the same amount of time. 44 customers were able to produce these real results.

United Feed Mill Co.,Ltd organized the "1 week kg No Setback, Get Cash Back", by paying attention to the pigs one week after weaning.

Activity: “Activity to Survive”
Near the end of 2012, United Feed Mill Co.,Ltd organized and activity, "Activity to Survive", to help customer's farm survive by reducing the amount of loss and increase the productivity. Our service team visited the participating customer's farms to analyze and investigate the problems that are occurring within each of the customer's farms and prescribed corrective measures for these farms.
Of the participating farms, 66% of the farms were evidently successful with the average loss reduced by 12% and increase in piglet weight by 1 kg.
Activity: “More Weight Less Time 9 Weeks 30 Kg”
United Feed Mill Co.,Ltd saw the importance of how farmers raise their piglets because healthy piglets will result in a higher feeder and grower weight. Therefore, we organized a program to raise piglets to have gained 30 kilograms of weight by the age of 9 weeks.
This program aims to promote the systematic pig farming with quality feed under close supervision from our technical team. 9 customer's farms are successful at achieving these results through our program from May 2011- December 2012.
